IRDAI has warned Star Health Insurance Co for publishing a misleading advertisement and asked it to comply with regulatory provisions.
In an advertisement in a business daily on May 8, 2015, the company had claimed itself to be the number one in India.
The advertisement read: “Star Health Insurance ranks No. 1 among all private general and health insurance companies in India in health segment (2014-15).”
