Once you register with the NPS, you receive a PRAN – Permanent Retirement Account Numberalong with a PRAN Kit containing your PRAN Card, subscriber details or Subscriber Master List and an information booklet. The T-PIN and I-PIN are sent separately.
The PRAN Card name, father’s name, photo and signature. You need a copy of the card to activate your Tier II as well as for contributing to this account. The subscriber master list has the information provided by you and is recorded in the CRA system.
