Can I get a health insurance policy for my three year old son?

Children are usually covered by one of the parents in their health insurance policy which covers self, spouse and two dependent children 23 years or less. Children between 3 months and 5 years of age can be included in the family floater policy  so long as one parent is covered in it. For children between 5 and 23 years, they can be covered in the family floater or opt for a separate policy.
